Kamiakin is a perfect 10-0 against Southridge since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Braves will host the Suns at 7:00 p.m. Kamiakin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Southridge likes a good challenge.

Kamiakin's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 41-0 win over Hanford. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Braves' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Falcons are ranked 98th).

Meanwhile, Southridge played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 36-14 to Chiawana.

Kamiakin will have to keep a close watch on Tayton Jackman and Toa Haertling, a pair of players who had a big impact on Southridge's prior game. Jackman rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown, while Haertling rushed for 18 yards and one TD.

Southridge now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Kamiakin, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Kamiakin won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, slipping by Southridge 19-18. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Suns' Gabe Borisch, who rushed for 161 yards while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Braves still be able to contain Borisch? There's only one way to find out.
