Football Game Recap: Stafford vs. Colonial Forge

Colonial Forge simply couldn't be stopped on Friday, as they easily beat Stafford 49-14. The win was familiar territory for Colonial Forge, who now have eight in a row.

Colonial Forge started the matchup off right with 42 first-half points. Meanwhile, Stafford couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 42-0 heading into the break. Colonial Forge were outscored in the second half, but Stafford's efforts were ultimately no more than a drop in the ocean. Colonial Forge added further sheen to their flawless record, now 8-0. The loss dropped Stafford back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Colonial Forge take on Mountain View at 7:00 PM. Unlike Colonial Forge, Mountain View will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Stafford, they will face off against Massaponax. Stafford's defense better steel itself: Massaponax are averaging 34 points per game.
