Given Eisenhower's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked tenth, while Goddard are ranked 56th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eisenhower's win bumped their record up to 8-1-1. As for Goddard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
