Volleyball Recap: Glenbard East Victorious

Glenbard East posted their closest win since September 11th on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the South Elgin Storm 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Storm back in September, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Glenbard East who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 17-25, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Jess Larson, who had ten digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Despite the loss, South Elgin still got an impressive performance from Kiersten Lenox, who had ten assists and six digs.

Glenbard East's victory bumped their record up to 13-22. As for South Elgin, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 23-9.

Glenbard East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Elgin, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hoffman Estates on the 22nd.
