Volleyball Recap: Chambers/Wheeler Central Comes Up Short

Chambers/Wheeler Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Palmer Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Renegades of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Chambers/Wheeler Central's offense was headlined by Paige Schlenger and Rose Woeppel, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Ansley Waldo and her seven assists.

Chambers/Wheeler Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Palmer, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Chambers/Wheeler Central has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Central Valley on the 7th. As for Palmer, they will be taking part in a tournament against Grand Island Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
