Softball Recap: Barlow Wins Going Away Against Tigard

Barlow lost to Tigard back in March of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Barlow Bruins blew past the Tigard Tigers 13-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Kaylee Pokorny 2025 looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Sydney Trapp 2026 was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa McCormick 2028, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Barlow's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Tigard, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barlow will host Southridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
