Softball Recap: Red Bay Tigers vs. Cherokee Indians
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winston County, Red Bay was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Cherokee Indians onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. This was payback for Red Bay, who suffered a 10-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Red Bay's win bumped their record up to 15-12-1. As for Cherokee, their loss dropped their record down to 19-15.
Red Bay will be playing in front of their home fans against Colbert Heights at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cherokee, they will head out on the road to square off against Belgreen at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cherokee is facing Belgreen at the right time seeing as Belgreen is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
