Recap: Columbus Christian Crusaders vs. Christian Academy of Madison Defenders
The Columbus Christian Crusaders pushed their score all the way to 58 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-58 to Christian Academy of Madison. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Saturday (55), Columbus Christian still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Columbus Christian still got an impressive performance from Josh Conrad, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Conrad has scored all season. Cam Pritchard was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine assists and eight rebounds.
Columbus Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Christian Academy of Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus Christian will take on Pleasant View Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Christian Academy of Madison will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Columbus HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. One thing working in Columbus HomeSchool's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matches.
