It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Middletown can now relate to. They came up short against the Thomas Worthington CARDINALS on Friday, falling 3-0. The Middies' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Drew Barnes was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had nine digs and two assists.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Thomas Worthington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thomas Worthington, they will challenge Fairmont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Firebirds will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the CARDINALS surely won't give up without a fight.
