Soccer Game Preview: Bell vs. San Angelo Central

The Bell Blue Raiders will be taking part in a tournament against the San Angelo Central Bobcats at 4:20 p.m. on Friday.

Bell will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Deer Park on Thursday. The Blue Raiders won by a goal and slipped past the Deer 4-3. Considering Bell's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, San Angelo Central was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Channelview could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Bell's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. San Angelo Central's draw makes their record 4-0-1 this season.
