Basketball Recap: Greenfield Takes a Loss

Greenfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 69-42 defeat at the hands of the Union City Golden Tornadoes. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 73-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Greenfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Union City, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenfield will face off against Lake County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Greenfield likes a good challenge. Union City has already played their next matchup (against South Fulton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
