Softball Recap: Atchison Comes Up Short

Atchison lost against McLouth on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Phoenix came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 14-1. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atchison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for McLouth, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Atchison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-4 victory against Sumner Academy on the 1st. As for McLouth, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Horton at 4:30 p.m. on the 17th.
