McClave extended their home winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Tuff Kelley. The McClave Cardinals blew past the Burlington Cougars 59-31 on Saturday thanks in part to Kelley, who dropped a triple-double with 16 points, 13 boards, and ten blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last 18 games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Kielan Mallard, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Burlington's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Weston Schaal, who put up ten points in addition to six boards and four steals. Kenyon Ricketts also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

McClave's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Burlington, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

When McClave and Burlington next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. McClave will try to stop Wiley's three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. McClave is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.5 points per game this season. Similarly, Burlington will challenge Byers and their three-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
