Softball Recap: Resurrection Comes Up Short

After flying high against DePaul College Prep on Wednesday, Resurrection came back down to earth. The Bandits lost 11-1 to the St. Laurence Vikings on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-5 on April 3rd.

Resurrection saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Reichenberger, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Resurrection's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for St. Laurence, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Coming up, Resurrection will welcome Glenbrook North at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Laurence, they will venture away from home to face off against Providence Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
