Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wildwood). Everything went their way against the Lower Cape May Tigers on Monday as they made off with a 25-6 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Emma Contreras made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Contreras was also big at the plate, going 3-for-6 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Wildwood let Allyson Lillo and Antoinette Cooper run wild. Lillo got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Cooper got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
