It was a good run, but Sweetwater unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Virgin Valley Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Jaeden Brown paced Sweetwater's offense, picking up 11 kills. Brown got some help from Sergio Salazar and his 21 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Virgin Valley can attribute much of their success to Aiden Muniz, who had seven digs and one assist.

Sweetwater's defeat dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Virgin Valley, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Sweetwater didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Southeast Career Tech on the 4th. As for Virgin Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 4th.
