After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Washingtonville, White Plains was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Mount Vernon Knights 21-6. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 42-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory got White Plains back to even at 1-1. As for Mount Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
