Cardinal Gibbons extended their postseason success on Friday against NSU University. They put the hurt on the NSU University Sharks with a sharp 58-38 win. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

NSU University lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Xavier Osecola, who posted ten points in addition to five assists and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Jordan Moshe was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Cardinal Gibbons and bumps their season record up to 22-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.5 points. As for NSU University, their record now sits at 15-8.

Cardinal Gibbons and NSU University should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Cardinal Gibbons (ranked 20th) will meet Carol City (ranked 354th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cardinal Gibbons is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, NSU University will challenge Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 182 places (98 vs. 280).
