Derek Laabs put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

Looking ahead, Laabs and Manitowoc Lutheran will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Sheboygan Area Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lancers are a perfect 5-0 against the Crusaders going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
