Baseball Recap: East Surry Takes a Loss

East Surry came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-0 to the Forbush Falcons. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cardinals were not able to get on the board.

East Surry has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for Forbush, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East Surry will face off against rival West Wilkes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Forbush is set to square off against their familiar foe North Surry at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
