Volleyball Recap: Halls' Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Halls's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Red Devils as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

While Halls might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Eagleton College & Career Academy scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 17-25, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Eagleton College & Career Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kaylee Loud had 15 digs and three assists.

Halls' victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Halls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Knoxville Central on the 9th. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Wartburg Central on the 9th.
