Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ganado walked away with it. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Refugio Bobcats on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won four games in a row.

Callen Hajovsky was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. He has become a key player for Ganado: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-9-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Luke Bures, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Ganado hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive matches.

Ganado's victory bumped their record up to 12-10-1. As for Refugio, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11-1 record this season.

Ganado will have a chance to go back-to-back against Refugio: the pair will be back at it again later today.
