Volleyball Recap: Allen East Comes Up Short

Allen East lost against Minster back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Allen East took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-20.

When it comes to explaining why Allen East lost, don't look at Aniya Prowant. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and one assist. Prowant is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Allen East's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Minster, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Allen East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Minster, they will challenge New Bremen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
