Softball Recap: South Allegheny Comes Up Short

South Allegheny fell victim to Yough and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Gladiators in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

South Allegheny saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameran Colecchi, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

South Allegheny's loss dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Yough, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season.

South Allegheny does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yough, they will take on Charleroi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
