Frontier Academy is a perfect 3-0 against Fort Morgan since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wolverines will head out to take on the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses for Frontier Academy and four for Fort Morgan.

Frontier Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Fort Morgan lost 3-0 to Weld Central on Monday.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Weld Central scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-17.

Frontier Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Fort Morgan, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Frontier Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Fort Morgan in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Mustangs' Elyse Barrera, who had 19 digs and two aces.
