Jasper is 8-2 against Hayden since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Jasper Vikings will be playing at home against the Hayden Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Jasper hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Jasper turned things around against Fairview on Thursday. They never let the Aggies get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Hayden didn't have quite enough to beat Douglas on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Jasper's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hayden, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Jasper beat Hayden 13-9 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will Jasper repeat their success, or does Hayden have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
