Soccer Recap: Klein Takes a Loss

Klein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Magnolia Bulldogs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bearkats came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 382nd).

Klein's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Magnolia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Klein will square off against Klein Cain at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Magnolia, they will challenge Klein Oak at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
