After a string of five wins, Bronson's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 6-1 to the Trenton Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Julianne Lampton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Bronson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Trenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Bronson will challenge Riverside Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trenton, they will face off against Branford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Trenton 2.3, Branford 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
