Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beresford). They had just enough and edged the Centerville Tornadoes out 64-62. The win was some much needed relief for the Watchdogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Beresford's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Centerville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beresford will square off against Parker at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Beresford is facing Parker at the right time seeing as Parker is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Centerville, they will venture away from home to challenge Gayville-Volin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
