Baseball Preview: Dallastown Wildcats vs. Northeastern Bobcats

Dallastown is 10-0 against Northeastern since April of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Dallastown Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Northeastern Bobcats at 4:15 p.m. Dallastown is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.

Kamden Sowers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up six Ks.

Meanwhile, Northeastern entered their tilt with New Oxford with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Colonials on Monday.

Garreth Calder was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Garrett Baker, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double.

Dallastown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Northeastern, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
