Recap: La Sierra Eagles vs. Norte Vista Braves
The matchup between the La Sierra Eagles and the Norte Vista Braves on Thursday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. La Sierra was the victim of a rough 82-62 defeat at the hands of Norte Vista. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Norte Vista's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryan Ramirez led the charge by going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 2 assists. Ramirez set a new season high mark in steals with eight. Another player making a difference was Carter Fulton, who scored 24 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
La Sierra has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Norte Vista, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
