Basketball Recap: Southwest Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hutchinson last Friday, Southwest Christian came back down to earth. The Southwest Christian Stars fell 65-58 to the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants on Tuesday. The Stars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Giants apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2021.

Southwest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Le Sueur-Henderson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Southwest Christian and Le Sueur-Henderson: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Southwest Christian will look to extend Buffalo's six-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Le Sueur-Henderson will try to hand Sibley East their ninth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
