Softball Recap: Jackson County Wins Going Away Against Lee County

Jackson County got themselves on the board against Lee County on Friday, but Lee County never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Bobcats. Considering the Generals have won five games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Jackson County back to even at 8-8. As for Lee County, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson County will welcome Model at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as the Generals come in on four and the Patriots on eight. As for Lee County, they will host Owsley County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats are facing the Owls / Lady Owls at the right time seeing as the Owls / Lady Owls are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
