Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lutheran West). They put the hurt on the Open Door Christian Patriots with a sharp 8-1 victory on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Lutheran West with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Lutheran West and bumps their season record up to 6-3-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two contests. As for Open Door Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8-1.
