On Thursday Zachary Kelly struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). The effort marked the most strikeouts Kelly has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his ninth in a row with less than one earned run. On the season, he has an ERA of 1.77 over 23.7 innings pitched.
