Football Recap: Providence Grove Falls to Randleman in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Providence Grove had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. The match between the Patriots and the Randleman Tigers didn't end well, with the Patriots falling 31-14. The Patriots have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Although Providence Grove took the loss, they still got scores from Andrew Thomas and Jacob Flinchum.

John Kirkpatrick was nothing short of spectacular for Randleman: he threw for 286 yards and three TDs while completing 81.5% of his passes. Those 286 passing yards gave Kirkpatrick a new career-high.

Providence Grove wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 23-0 win against Morehead on the 29th. As for Randleman, they have also already played their next contest, a 35-14 defeat against Eastern Randolph on the 29th.
