Chicopee Comp's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Chicopee Pacers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Chicopee Comp had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-17.

Chicopee Comp's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Chicopee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Chicopee Comp will venture away from home to take on Minnechaug Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chicopee, they will square off against Westfield at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
