Baseball Recap: St. Anthony Bulldogs vs. Effingham Flaming Hearts

If St. Anthony was riding high off their 9-3 takedown of Effingham last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. Anthony Bulldogs fell just short of the Effingham Flaming Hearts by a score of 6-5 on Friday. St. Anthony was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Effingham apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played.

St. Anthony saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Fearday, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double. Henry Brent was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
