Volleyball Recap: Perry County Takes a Loss

Perry County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Houston County Fighting Irish.

Perry County's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Houston County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Houston County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Scotts Hill on the 13th. Hopefully Perry County paid attention to the Fighting Irish's matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Fighting Irish at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
