Baseball Recap: Charlotte Gets the Win

Charlotte saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jefferson Mustangs, sneaking past 5-4. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by just one run.

Landon Gonzales and William Barahona did most of the damage at the plate: Gonzales went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Barahona scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Charlotte now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Charlotte has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 victory against John Paul II on the 27th. As for Jefferson, their road trip will continue as they head out to face La Pryor at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
