Chippewa Falls gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 65-58 victory over the Medford Raiders. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 63-57 win the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chippewa Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Munson, who went 8-for-17 to rack up 23 points and six rebounds. Kobe Twyman was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Chippewa Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-46 defeat against Superior on the 5th. As for Medford, they will face off against D.C. Everest at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
