Recap: Scarborough Spartans vs. Washington Eagles
The Scarborough Spartans lost against the Washington Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Scarborough was dealt a 63-12 loss at the hands of Washington. Scarborough has not had much luck with Washington recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Washington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Danaya Pope out in front who scored 27 points. Pope is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaniece Powell, who scored 17 points.
Scarborough has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.
Scarborough does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Washington also has no future games currently scheduled.
