Basketball Game Preview: Pike County Bulldogs vs. Straughn Tigers

The Pike County Bulldogs will take on the Straughn Tigers in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses dating back to last season for Pike County and seven for Straughn.

Last Friday, Pike County lost to Carroll at home by a 70-54 margin.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Straughn took on Georgiana on Monday. Straughn took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Georgiana. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Panthers are ranked 58th).

Straughn's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Pike County, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-4.
