Basketball Game Preview: Douglas County West Falcon vs. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder

The Douglas County West Falcon will face off against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglas County West will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Douglas County West is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since December 7, 2023 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wayne, sneaking past 54-51. The win was all the more spectacular given the Falcon's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Blue Devils are ranked seventh).

Douglas County West got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Bergsten out in front who posted 15 points. Trey Schieber was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Meanwhile, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder didn't have too much breathing room in their game against David City on Friday, but they still walked away with a 48-44 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Douglas County West, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
