It was a good run, but Allen East unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 55-46 to the Wayne Trace Raiders. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Allen East lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Evelyn Lehman, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Rilynn Jones, who had 15 points and three steals.

Allen East's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2. As for Wayne Trace, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Allen East will host Crestview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Allen East is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season. As for Wayne Trace, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hicksville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wayne Trace is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
