Baseball Recap: Poolesville Comes Up Short

Poolesville lost to Blair on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons took a 15-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blazers. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Poolesville now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Blair, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season.

Poolesville will host Paint Branch at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.53 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Blair, they will head out to challenge Blake at 7:05 p.m. on Friday.
