The Henderson Warriors will square off against the Strath Haven Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Henderson will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Henderson is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Great Valley with a sharp 13-3 victory on Wednesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Jake Schultz looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Henderson got a massive performance out of Cole Ryan, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Ryan a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Ethan Franks, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Strath Haven ultimately got the result they hoped for last Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Lower Merion.
Jasper Hals tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Strath Haven is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise.
At the plate, Strath Haven saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Selverian, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Strath Haven's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
Henderson couldn't quite finish off Strath Haven when the teams last played back in March of 2024 and fell 3-1. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
