Recap: Grand Ledge vs. East Lansing
On Friday, the Grand Ledge Comets were out to avenge their 59-51 defeat to the East Lansing Trojans from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. The contest between them was not particularly close, with Grand Ledge falling 72-57. This makes it the second loss in a row for them.
The Comets' defeat pushed them down to 9-7. East Lansing's win brought them up to 16-2.
The Comets will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against DeWitt on Tuesday. Grand Ledge is the slight favorite, but fans of both teams should be in for an exciting game likely to go down to the wire. As for East Lansing, they will go up against Lansing Catholic on Tuesday. Lansing took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse East Lansing's good fortune.
