Basketball Game Preview: CES Academy Knights vs. Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders

The CES Academy Knights and the Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.

CES Academy is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Wayne Christian Academy just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Eagle by a score of 45-43.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Faith Baptist Christian Academy). They really took it to Southside Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 77-37 victory. With that win, the Crusaders brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.

CES Academy better keep an eye on Gordon Boyd. He was instrumental in Faith Baptist Christian Academy's win, going 12 for 24 en route to 31 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Aidan Massey was another key player, dropping a triple-double on 12 points, 15 boards, and ten assists.
