Recap: McClintock vs. North Canyon

McClintock waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins but they left with five. They put the hurt on North Canyon with a sharp 5-1 victory. Considering McClintock has won five matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit North Canyon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Julissa Ayala Mendez (3), Nayomi Rodriguez Vargas, and Aislynn Greene.

McClintock pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 5.4 goals per game. As for North Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5-2.

McClintock will play host again and welcome Fairfax, where kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fairfax has not scored a goal the last three times they've played, a trend they'll try and put an end to. As for North Canyon, they will head out on the road to square off against Sierra Linda at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Allowing an average of 3.5 goals per game, Sierra Linda has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this contest.
